We are excited to announce the general availability of GitHub integration for QDS Notebooks. GitHub is an effective way to collaborate on development projects. GitHub is the version control software that allows users to track the changes they make to their code, as well as being able to easily revert these changes, share development efforts, and more.

The integration with GitHub will give QDS notebook users the ability to track code changes and use a central repository for code changes. Users can leverage the collaborative features of GitHub such as push commits and branches. Once notebooks are linked with a GitHub profile, users can start using the notebook to push commits to GitHub directly from a notebook associated with a running cluster. Each push commit has a unique identifier, which enables users to choose a particular version for further changes and/or use.

The following is a screenshot of a notebook with GitHub linked to QDS.
